SADLY! THE “MUSLIMS” HAVE LOST THEIR QIBLA

SADLY! THE “MUSLIMS” HAVE LOST THEIR DIRECTION

For any verbal or written record to pass the test of truthfulness, it should be on the ground of Logical Soundness; i.e. like the formula of 2+2 = 4 which is universally accepted by all. Every “Holy Scripture” should pass this test in order to validate that its teaching is beneficial for entire mankind. But the issue is so emotionally strong that we often skip the subject and categorize it as personal affair. This is a very serious subject which we all ignore or give less importance. Governments come to power or lose their power because of this subject. How can it be a private affair when its teaching affects the entire mankind so severely?

We should stop the policy of appeasement if we sincerely desire peace for entire mankind. The world is now a global village with common interest that is Peace for all. Any teachings that violate this fundamental interest should be amended at any cost. We humans cannot afford to remain silent and be a spectator to any sort of teaching that propagates hate, bigotry, misogynistic, intolerance and injustice in the name of “Holy Scriptures”. Education is the only option. By all means we have to educate the masses even if it requires the use of force and to do that our intentions should be honest and sincere. We cannot be dictated by handful of violent people and their hateful ideology.

In this matter the guidelines are given by the “Quran” but the followers of the “Quran” ignore these guidelines, the reason they rely too much on their respective “guides” and refuse to take notice of the actual message. My emphasis is more towards the “Muslim” community because they are the main victims as well as perpetrators of the mindless violence. Blaming others for our plight won’t exonerate us from the responsibilities. We have to accept that we “Muslims” are not thinking people. We don’t use our brain; we are herds of cattle led by many shepherds. We are threat to the world peace.

The First Dilemma:

While the language of the “Quran” fortunately remained mostly untouched, its words and terms were made to lose the spirit which are so beautifully conveyed in the original Arabic language. This happen basically due to the instant merger of two cultures and resulting in the sudden evolution of the language which every language has to pass through. The Quranic terms went through an adaptation process with the erroneous philosophies prevalent in the once Zoroastrian culture of Persia, and they later on became widely accepted even among the Arabs! As a community Arabs are believed to be the most unlettered people who have hardly contributed to the Arabic literature but the fact is otherwise. All the Arab literature of more than 200 years were destroyed during the Abbasid rule and not a single page was available except the traces of marvelous “Quran”. I am not ready to believe that Arabs were illiterate seeing the beauty of "Quran's" message and its eloquent style. During that period it was literally Persians influence who were at the realms of power and the newly converts had to totally rely on these Persians for their education and Abbasid were just a puppet, under the false illusion of power and glory. Many learned Arabs who were aware of the truth of the “Quran” were systematically killed if they raised their voices against the malpractice of the Persians. This staggering tragedy explains why and how, even the Arabs or the intellectuals among the “Muslims” lose their touch with the “Quran”, the weapon of mass enlightenment (25:52).

The Second Dilemma:

The later generations of interpreters and exegesis’ of “Quran” have blindly followed the men of old and this tendency has been consistently taking its virulent casualty. The followers of “Quran” have been thinking of the Ajami Arabic as the original Language of the Quran. By Ajami Arabic I mean not the pure Arabic but with many alien concepts attached to the Arabic words and terms of the Quran.

Any worth reading book is that which has a proper sequence or in perfect order of narration, without compromising with its main theme. Lacking that would be a mess, non-scholarly work relatively unreadable and boring to the reader. The reader must be able to tell what the entire book is all about, simply and briefly in clear words. What is the use of the book if we fail to discover its theme or main agenda or subject matter, without which the objective or the purpose of reading the book is futile?

There is only one original “Quranic script”. It is in the dialect of the natives which was written down in short hand and spoken too in half discourse. The Arabic script has no vowel or diacritical marking, which means individual words can be interpreted in many ways. But because of years of brainwashing and misunderstanding of the “Quran” the common men thinks that canonical meanings are the only meanings to be followed. The “Muslims” are taught from a very early age that the Quran is a perfectly preserved book and that “God” has taken it upon himself to guard each verse, word, and letter and even a dot of the Quranic Arabic text is free from any errors or changes. But we fail to judge what we are actually following is not “God’s” word but it is the interpretation of the respective translators. If the meaning of the word changes, how we can we claim that the message is preserved or remains the same. We are living in false contentment. We are actually sleeping and pretending to be awake.

The Third Dilemma:

I would like to enlighten the readers on some script problems in the Arabic Quran, mainly diacritical marks. The Arabic writing system was not fully developed during the time of compilation of “Quranic script”, it was mainly an oral communication. The original Quranic Arabic alphabet was derived from Syriac /Aramaic and eventually evolved into Arabic alphabets which were written without the present diacritical marks. Initially the Arabic writing was called Garshuni script. These vowels and diacritical marks were added years after the final compilation of original text. The problem with this is addition or subtraction of diacritical marks is it radically changed the meaning of original text thereby drastically altering the Arabic words which even changed the root words.

The Fourth Dilemma:

Most of the essence of the original script of the Quran is lost; the original speakers of the language are no more. Most of the original meanings of the vibrant words of “Quran” are practically dead but still its traces are found in some classical lexicons. The book of wisdom is infringed upon with alien concept and mythological stories of dead characters. The present translation and interpretation is comfortably based on the conjecture or at the mercy of the majority. The situation looks depressing, but true. Apparently the “Muslims” have lost their Qibla; an important aspect of faith.

The Fifth Dilemma:

Majority of “Muslims” have no idea about Islam, they blindly follow their sect leaders. When we ask them some simple questions which is contrary to their beliefs their perennial answer is “Allah Knows the best”. What I want to convey is that their thinking and learning process has been completely stopped. They are programmed not to think, not to use their minds, and to blindly accept whatever is taught in the name of religion. They think performing certain rituals, wearing an Arab dress, eating particular kind of food and believing in life after death stories is “Islam” or article of faith and this is the absolute truth which cannot be changed or amended. They are ready to die for their belief, that’s the reason they are so complacent and thus dangerous.

When confronted, they are trained to sing “Allah Knows the Best” tune and then move on very careless, not bothering to know the answer. Their urge to seek knowledge is completely destroyed. They are content performing rituals and they are hypnotized to think this is what “Islam” is. The mindless rituals they perform in the hope of pleasing Allah are proudly called by them as Ibadat (service) to Allah, without knowing who is Allah. Please see my article on Allah.

It seems that logic and reasoning has disappeared from such people's thought process. Without the application of reasoning there is no thinking. Such an irony and fall of intellect that people don't want to think for themselves. Years of dependence on their respective religious head has taken its toll, it will take a long time before they even want to unlearn. It’s so sad to see them react in such a violent, abusive manner when we confront them with Quranic verses related to their beliefs. They tirelessly defend their beliefs and call names to those who provide evidence from within the Quran to all their queries. How are we ever going to get rid of such a mindset called Stockholm syndrome?

The Sixth Dilemma:

Now the biggest dilemma is how to understand this sacred book called Quran, on which the lives of 1.6 billions of “Believers” depend? What the Noble Quran says about it, when everything is almost lost, who will teach the “Quran” when its language alien to most of us? Or is it even important to know this 114 chapter book called Quran? Let’s see what the “Quran” has to say about this dilemma? – Please refer to my on Kitab, Quran and Arabic for more detail.

The Seventh Dilemma:

How it is possible to decode the “Quran” when it is clearly mention in the “Quran” that we cannot follow our elders, ancestors, teachers, friends, historical events or the opinion of the majority?

SOLUTION TO THE ABOVE DILEMMAS:

(1) In order to see the truth one must recognize the lie. First the believers or the followers of “Quran” should realize that what they rote is gibberish reading or singing of the Arabic text of “Quran” furthermore it is a waste of time and insult to the honorable author of the “Quran”. But many among the “Muslims” don’t see any problem with this type of reading and they are not even bothered about their lives. They are content with their condition and terming it as Allah’s wish or they would blame the so called evil forces hatching conspiracy against them.

To understand the “Quran” through various translations and to believe that we know all about “Quran” is wishful thinking or self deception. What they understand is not an original message of the “Quran” but a version based on “Traditional Quranic Dictionaries” written by traditional writers. This “Quranic dictionaries” are tailor made for the purpose of interpreting the “Quran” on the concept of “Shaan-e-Nuzool”.  The Particular circumstances of revelation called Shaan-e-Nuzool is a conjecture tool fabricated by Ajami Imams whose mother tongue was not even Arabic and they played the role of the teacher to help decode the Arabic Quran for rest of the “Muslim world”. But the truth is this sham tool of Shaane Nuzool was fabricated to fool the Arab natives and those new converts who embrace into the fold of Islam.

The “Quran” was the only weapon by which the “unlettered Arabs” became the Master of Ajami (foreign) lands in record breaking time. And it was very important for the non Arabs to neutralize this weapon of mass enlightenment in order to stop the advancement of the message of the “Quran”. So after more than hundred years after the compilation of this noble book of Arabs; the non Arabs (Ajami) have invented the tool of Shaane Nuzool, just to curtail this magnanimous message of Arabs from taking over the world.

“Shan-e-Nuzool means the particular circumstances, context or events in which or in response to which, particular verses of Al-Qur’an were revealed to Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). This is also a very essential science needed for understanding Al-Qur’an. There are two types of verses in Al-Qur’an, one includes those which Allah sent down Himself and was not in response to any particular event or question posed towards Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). The second type includes those verses which were sent down in response to a particular event or question. It is for understanding of the second type of verses one needs to know the Shan-e-Nuzool. Some people believe that it is not important to know the Shan-e-Nuzool, but this are not correct, as it is very difficult to understand the correct meaning of these verses without having in mind the background for which or in response to which these verses were revealed – This is the general view of the so called Islamic scholars which is instill in the common man.

It occurred when the commentators of the Qur’an, centuries after its revelation, tried to connect every verse with a certain historical event, calling the process Shaan-e-Nuzool (Circumstances of a revelation.) Here the words and terms of the Qur’an were given tailor-made meanings to fit the supposed story, with total disregard to their original vibrant meanings, concepts and messages.

This deplorable practice only serves to bind the verses of the Timeless Qur’an to some supposed incidents and chain the Word of God in another set of shackles!

Worst of all, and inevitably so, this conjecture of Shaan-e-Nuzool was attributed to the exalted Prophet and his noble companions. This led people into believing that this was how they (the Prophet and his companions) used to understand the Qur’an! So, the foundation of an Islamic decline was laid down and mankind was robbed of the Supreme Gift of guidance bestowed upon them by the Creator! Dr. Shabbir Ahmed

This understanding of “Quran” based on “Shaane Nuzool” lead to the demise of the original message of the “Quran”. The magnificent Quran became permanently handicapped that needs crutches of this deceitful tool called “Shaane Nuzool” and it is told that we cannot understand “Quran” without this fake instrument. And we all are witness to the consequence caused by the sad demise of the original vibrant message of peace, eventually transformed into the doctored message of violence and rituals. The first solution to the dilemmas is to realize where we went wrong and accept the mistake & not to defend it by apologetic justifications.

(2) After realizing or accepting the fault we must scrutinize each and every word of the original text of the “Quran” through the classical lexicon. Note, not to refer the modern Arabic dictionaries as these dictionaries will often show you the present or colloquial meanings of the word instead of pure classical Arabic meaning. As we know the lexicons provides range of meanings, the appropriate selection of meaning must be determined by the context of the verse, the theme of the subject, Rattal & tasreef al-ayaat, selected meaning should be in line with the core message of Quran. Before selecting the meanings the factor of religious influence over the lexicographers should be kept in mind.

Now is the era of IT revolution; nothing can be hidden in this era. In this is the era of information and knowledge and everybody has an easy access to information. The world has become a global village. Today there are no Arabi and Ajmi differentiation. Today even a non Arab can understand the nuance of the Arabic language better than the native Arab. Today anyone who is interested can independently study the “Quran” without the help of any teacher; this is one of the greatest boons of internet technology.

(3) While retracing the precious message for mankind from the “Quran” we must make sure that is it really meant for mankind or is it a hollow claim. If the message is really concerned about the well being of mankind its essence should pass the test of humanity. The message should be not about any particular culture, region, caste, and creed or it should not teach any type of hegemony over others. While interpreting the message if it does not fulfill this criterion then the claim fails that it is the message for entire mankind.

The present day interpretation of the “Quran” is exceedingly based on faith rather than on the classical language and common sense. Sadly the present interpretation of the “Quran” is full of bigotry, misogynistic and myth. Whoever learns or able to sing with good Arabic pronunciation all these crap on the basis of conjecture formed by their predecessors are considered as Aalim (scholar) of Islam. The learning from these schools (Madrasah) is of no use and these people are not recognized as literate by the main stream society because they cannot secure jobs on the basis of this learning except in Mosque or religious school.

Between the fifth and the seventh century Hijri the science of Dialectics or Scholastic Theology was established through Imam Ghazali (450 AH) and for the support of which, besides the a-fore-said sciences, poetic sciences like Logic, Philosophy, etc. also became a necessary ingredient in the curriculum of the Islamic schools and universities.

In the beginning of eighteenth century Mulla Nizamuddin Sahalvi, who was contemporary of Shah Waliullah drafted the curriculum known as "Dars-e Nizami", which is current today in all the Arabic schools, is a relic from him. This new syllabus was prepared by Mulla Nizamuddin by adding something more to the syllabus of Imam Ghazali’s theology. Since then the syllabus remained unchanged and is the backbone of all “Islamic Schools”. This archaic syllabus should be changed first in order to bring the future generation back to the modern track.

The purpose of discussing all this history is that due to this rigid syllabus imposed by the so called contractors of Islam; the gate of inquiry or independent reasoning (Ijtehad) was closed and the “Muslim” community had to rely and bear the burden of this thousand year old syllabus. Ijtehad is opposite of taqlid (blindly following the verdict of an “expert”). Once the community of independent thinkers became the herd of cattle lead by an old shepherd known as “Dars-e-Nizami”. In the name of acquiring religious education young innocent boys and girls are enrolled in these courses by their respective parents. And unfortunately these youths spoil their prime time in learning the useless 1000 year old defunct education in the hope of acquiring nearness to “God” thus spoiling their worldly life on which every other things are based.

(4) Classical Arabic is based on chain of root words and it is easy to detect the discrepancy in the meaning of the word, although it is a tedious task to scrutinize each and every word but it is the only option if we want to revive the lost message of the "Quran". If we sincerely want to revive the lost message of the noble “Quran” we have to undertake this tedious journey. And there are no shortcuts; if we are interested in acquiring the right message, otherwise just crying over the past tragedy of conspiracy by the Persian Imams would be futile. The process of independent reasoning or new reforms should be encouraged and welcomed. And those doing it should be given protection from the fanatics.

(5) The problem is we simply ignore the greatest gift bestowed upon us by our Creator that is our intelligence and empathy. We extremely underestimate our intelligence and ignore our empathy. We immediately run to take opinions from those who are responsible for our society’s dilapidated condition. We have lost the power to think independently. We are suffering from Stockholm’s syndrome. We love the things which are responsible for our decay. We love to live in the past histories and Utopian concepts. We cannot face facts they are fearful to us. The so called established canonized concepts don’t allow us to think independently. We fear freedom of expression and freedom of liberty. We kill our sisters and daughters in the name of fake honor. We like to control the weaker section of the society by curbing their rights at the pretext of protection. We are extremely intolerant because we think our ideology is far more important than the brotherhood of humanity. We kill people who don’t subscribe to our ideology. We are the most intolerant creatures on earth. We say Islam is peaceful but we are thirsty for each other’s blood. We have more than 100 sects, each sect calling other an infidel. We are not ready to think out of the well. Each sect is content to remain in that well they assume as their world. We are a casualty of absolutism. We should accept that our wrong ideology is threat to the world peace.

The only solution for this mess up life is to think, and think independently how to come out of this miserable mess. Don’t rely on strange books not even the 114 chapter book called Quran as it language is intangible to us. Realize everything is within you. Follow those books (Kitab), signs (ayaat), lessons (surah) or messengers (rasuls) which you understand and that relate your day to day life. Trust (Imaan) yourself be the master (Imam) of your own destiny (Qadar); don’t let other forces overpower you. Life is too precious to be conceded to others whims and fancy. Don’t insult yourself, hold it in high esteem. Take your own decisions, identify (ism) the voice of yourself (Nafs) who is your Allah / Rabb / Rehman…The Kingdom (Mulk) and its King (Malik) is inside you. Know or recognize yourself. You are the creator and destroyer of your own self. You are one of the brick of the society. If you are weak the society will be weak. Build yourself first; we cannot serve (Ibadah) anyone from an empty cup. Please don’t rely on others to build your house or keep it in order. Work is worship. Work is your God (ilah); you have to serve your God sincerely in order to attain success or reward (Thawab), don't serve the God with any formality or rituals. This is the short message of 114 chapter book called the noble Quran.

SOME VERSES OF THE “QURAN” ON RELATED TO THE TOPIC:

Do not follow blindly what you do not know: your understanding, insight, and intelligence will be questioned about all these. (Quran 17.36)

And those who when they are reminded of the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat. (Quran 25:73)

We have not sent any messenger except in the language of his people (Quran 14:4).

And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah. They follow not except assumption, and they are not but falsifying (Quran 6:116).

And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that which we found our fathers doing." Even though their fathers understood nothing, nor were they guided? (Quran 2:170).

And when it is said to them, "Come to what Allah has revealed and to the Messenger," they say, "Sufficient for us is that upon which we found our fathers." Even though their fathers knew nothing, nor were they guided? (Quran 5:104)
That was a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do (Quran 2:134).

And it is not for a soul to believe except by permission of Allah, and He will place defilement upon those who will not use reason (Quran 10:100).

Follow, [O mankind], what has been revealed to you from your Lord (Consciousness) and do not follow other than Him any allies. Little do you heed? (Quran 7:3).

UNDERSTANDING THE RABB (CONSCIOUSNESS) IS THE MAIN MESSAGE OF THE QURAN - FOLLOW NOTHING JUST FOLLOW YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS.

A famous fable

SERVICE - IBADAH

If you serve the universe; The universe will serve you.

Lets reflect on this incident : Fleming, a poor Scottish farmer, heard a cry for help. A boy mired to his waist in block muck was struggling to free himself. Fleming saved the boy. Next day an elegantly
dressed nobleman came to Fleming & said, You have saved my son. I want to reward you for your act' 'No, I cannot accept any reward for my act. It was my duty, ' replied Fleming. 'Is that your son?' the nobleman asked pointing to the lad standing next to him. Fleming nodded in affirmation. The nobleman offered to educate Fleming's son as a goodwill gesture. 'Your son will make you proud ' was his assurance. Years passed. Fleming's son went on to become Sir Alexander Fleming, who discovered Penicillin. Years later, the nobleman's son was stricken with deadly pneumonia. What saved him? 'Penicillin vaccine'. The name of the nobleman was Lord Randolph Churchill. His son was Sir Winston Churchill. Someone has rightly said, "what goes around comes around". There are two types of actions; outer & inner. What determines the quality of one's life is the inner action, thoughts and emotions. Be alert to every moment in your thoughts & emotions and learn to quieten the chaos. Let the Rehmaan in you, express itself.

This story consists of legendary characters and the purpose of this story is to highlight a lesson.

As the time passes by, people forget the lesson that the story has taught them and start revering those legendary characters by canonizing them. Gradually, they name their new born babies after them and they see this as an act of piety. Their birthdays become an integral part of a ritual and are celebrated with pomp and glory. Similar types of stories are compiled together to make a book, which is revered and the essence is seldom understood. This is how the birth of a new religion with a holy book takes place.

This is how the "Quran explains with the help of stories as examples to reflect.

SURAH 78 AN-NABA

Still to be edited - Incomplete

Surah 78

An-Naba - The Information / Appraisal

Brief:

A very beautiful Surah and even more beautiful is its style of explaining. As usual the respected author has depicted the characters of Rabb in which Rehmaan is the main protagonist, supported by other roles such as General Public, Ruh, Malaikah, Al-Jabal, Al-Aradh, Al-Samawat etc. All the characters are present in US, but for the sake of understanding it - in a better way, the role and importance of each of these characters is portrayed differently. In olden days, lessons were taught in a story form with the help of examples - the book Quran is the best testimony to it (17:89).

The theme of the surah is about the incoming information and the sense of self inquiry or conversation takes place between our thoughts. How will we check whether the information coming to us is right or wrong? The respected author tried to deduce this dilemma by enacting the subject into a script. Man is influenced by many voices which compel him to act. Amidst all these voices he has to choose the right call. Voices are the information / guidelines / instructions which he receives through family, habits, addictions, peer pressure, duty, environment etc. Some of them could be external forces and some in the form of inner voices, depends upon one's level of consciousness. The respected author is guiding us, as to how one can select the right voice in order to lead a satisfactory and content life. The inner voices are signals containing bits of information conveyed to us and how we could retrieve and process it. Its all about zeroing in and  understanding this natural language / messages that our Rabb or Shaitaan is transmitting.

According to the surah the lower consciousness of man is adjustable or synchronized with the circumstances yet the basic nature of man remains fixed. Quite moments are for observations and pondering. The moment of anxiousness or anxiety, protects man from lackadaisical attitude and propels him to find the way of living. But inclination to attachment makes him blind and boastful and the result is he is in crumbled state.

Living a life of boastfulness based on lying, shuts the door of reality. Nothing grows in comfort zone. The respected author says we have to exert ourselves in order to gain the right perception of thoughts. Failing and making mistakes are important phases of life, as they help us grow and be capable of attaining a place in the society. People whose life is based on lies are destined to stagnation in a matter of time. They suffer from darkness and confusion and nobody is there to guide them because they are in bad company and not prepared to understand or listen to their inner / motherly calling of Rehmaan.

Rehmaan is one of the attributes of Rabb. Rabb is a mixture of many faculties and Rehmaan is one of them. The quality of Rehmaan is to teach and explain what man knew not (55:1-4). Rehmaan is one of the derivatives of the word Rehm, which means womb. The function of the womb is to nourish, nurture, up bring, design and give shape to the embryo. This development takes place spontaneously by default and involuntarily, without any external influences. The moment when everything is still or quite, Rehmaan takes over- the charge of a teacher, of a guide, of a up-bringer, nourisher  just as the mother's womb takes charge of the embryo.

So to activate the 'Rehmaan' in us, we have to silence all the internal and external voices relying totally on the sciences of our Rabbul-Aalamin. The situation of silence provokes Rehmaan to express its point of view which acts like a arrow hitting its target.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

With the identification of the System of consciousness, The Rehman, The Rahim.

37 رَّبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا الرَّحْمَـٰنِ ۖ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِنْهُ خِطَابًا

Rabb of higher and lower consciousness and what is between them is the Rehmaan [the teacher of knowledge]They possess no power from Him to converse

That moment the Spirit and the mechanism of ownership will stand still in rows, none will communicate except who is allowed for it, and the Rehmaan will say on target. (to the point)

39 ذَ‌ٰلِكَ الْيَوْمُ الْحَقُّ ۖ فَمَن شَاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِ مَآبًا

That will be the moment of facts, so whosoever desires, let him seek a right place towards his Rabb

Indeed We have warned you of a near torment, on that moment the result (of his action) will be seen which his hands/resources have sent forth and the disbeliever will say "Oh I wish ! that I could be equally become rich in knowledge."

Keeping our 'Antennas' at alert mode would help in tuning into the right frequencies towards our Rabb.

Surah 90 - AL-BALAD #

SURAH - 90 سورة البلد

Al-Balad- The Languid / Lethargic / wanting in intelligence

Brief :

This surah is not about any city or town but about that unfortunate person who possesses 'languid attitude' or wanting in intelligence or lack vigour or is inert/lazy. The word balad بَلَدًا and its derivatives have occurred in Quran 19 times and its most popular and modern meaning is city or land. One of the meaning of balad according to Hans Wehr and Edward William is idiot, stupid, languid, wanting in intelligence. The theme of the Quran is not about some city, planets, stars or fruits but it talks about how different thoughts affect the human nature or mind.

The respected author of the Quran presents the role of the Rabb by personifying it as a person, a common Quranic style, address in theophany format. Note the book Quran is called Qaul e Rasul [69:40 & 81:19] and we have to understand the entire Quran within this context only. The Book Quran is written in a theophany format where inherent Rasul is the speaker and the main protagonist. The verse says "I have nothing to do with lazy type of minds but the behaviour can be resolved if one understands that that life is meant for struggling and helping others. Everyone of us has to reap what they have sown. The main message of this surah is that  man evolves through struggle, but if it is believed that life is easy, then he is wrong. The author again cautions mankind that if they think that they are not accounted for their actions, they are mistaken.

Any person living a life of ease and comfort, always prefers to ignore the difficulties of life and chooses the easy path. If one has to grow he has to come out of the comfort zone and confront the realities of life. The definition of Insaan is one who is social, always ready to help others, maintains cordial relationships at the cost, remains in touch with the people around him - sacrificing what he covets most. The consequences of living a life of comfort, disconnects him from the bitter realities of life and gradually he drifts away from his near and dear ones. Health and possessions are not permanent partners, neither they are inter-connected. When his end comes he is lonely because when he had everything, he did not take care of his wealth, health or relationships but lived a self-centered life.

The author also tries to explain about the prosperous path which looks steep at the beginning but yields good results in the end. The steep path is to help near and dear ones at the time of scarcity. The path which does not insist on sacrifice of time, health, wealth, relationships will eventually lead a life of condemnation, covered in fire of envy.

Such people ultimately become the signs or lessons for others to take heed.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

With the exalted identification of the System of consciousness, The Rehman, The Rahim.

Interpretation:

1 لَا أُقْسِمُ بِهَـٰذَا الْبَلَدِ

I (Rasul) don't take part with such lazy / languid mind / person - (translators have deliberately ignored to translate لَا - a very serious mistake, just to justify their version of interpretation)

2 وَأَنتَ حِلٌّ بِهَـٰذَا الْبَلَدِ

And you can resolve with such lazy person / mind - (2:126, 14:35, 95:3)

3 وَوَالِدٍ وَمَا وَلَدَ

And what you sow so shall you reap

They will be engulfed in jealousy

KHAATAM AL NABIYEEN

Khaatama al Nabiyeen [خَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ] is a very vast, important, misunderstood, sensitive and contraversial term – I dare to share my view in short – the word kh-ta-ma means seal / sign / stamp – The word khatama does not signify last therefore the phrase Khaatama al Nabiyeen [خَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ] does not mean last prophet but seal of all Nabiyeen.

The triliteral root khā tā mīm (خ ت م) occurs eight times in the Quran, in four derived forms:

five times as the form I verb khatama (خَتَمَ)

once as the noun khātam (خَاتَم)

once as the noun khitām (خِتَٰم)

once as the passive participle makhtūm (مَّخْتُوم)

The word خ ت م means seal, sign or stamp - Khaatama indicates identification an object or represent an idea or relationship, seal of approval, authority to approve. Approving something needs knowledge and Mohammedun is the one who has complete knowledge, one who can endorse or approve after thorough study, it also means an epilogue and stamp / sign of authority – ختم الشهادة means sealing of testimony - ختم القران means completed / retained in memory the entire Quran. ختم البذر means he covered over the sown seed -

The word Khaatama
[خَاتَمَ] is active participle (اسم الفاعل) – e.g. – driving, eating, sleeping etc - So the word Mohammedun of the book Quran is a position or status which is participating in sealing / stamping the self acquired information [النَّبِيِّينَ]

Khaatama nabiyeen means one who signs / stamps / finalize all self acquired information [النَّبِيِّينَ] and to do that “Mohammedun” [nominative case] should be present or active, alive because the word Khatim is active participle (اسم الفاعل) – It does not mean last or end of "prophet-hood." The entire verse is in present tense.

Naba means نبا – News, over all information, acquainted, know, uttered in low voice or sound…

Nabi نبى means one who acquired overall information by himself or in other word through inspiration (Wahi) – self inspired or personal information

AL NABIYEEN
[genitive masculine plural noun] used in surah Al-Ahzaab verse 40 is a definite article, because of the additional AL attached to it, which means it is not a common noun but rather it is referring to many specific informations (Al-Nabiyeen). Also study 33:6-7

The word Hamd حمد means Praise, mentions, approves..

Mohammedun is a derivative of Hamd - As the word Mohammedun is in nominative case it describes a position or a status. Mohammedun is a position where one identifies or approves all such information… for that we need to know Mohammedun. But we are searching for Mohammed bin Abdullah /
Abū al-Qāsim Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib ibn Hāshim [PBUH] of history. Mohammedun of Quran has nothing to do with the messenger Mohammed bin Abdullah [PBUH] of hadith or history.

The word Mohammedun is a nominative masculine indefinite noun (اسم مرفوع)Mohamadun is not a proper noun….sorry if you searching for Mohammed bin Abdullah the person in Arabia - I am helpless because the noble Quran states so….The tanween at the end of the letter of Mohammedun signifies that it is not a proper noun but an indefinite noun of nominative nature. The hadith literature is totally different and to think that hadith throws complete light on the understanding of the book Quran is a delusional and misunderstanding of highest order. The book Quran must mainly be understood under its own context and format / theme.

"The role of an approver [Mohammadun] is never of anyone's procreator from your self sustaining mechanism [Rijal], and but he is Rasul [embedded inner voice] of Allah [system of consciousness], and signs / finalize / stamps [khaatama] all inner information [Al-Nabiyeen], and Allah [system of consciousness] is with everyone whose desire is knowledge."

The inherent sense of everyone that approves or finalize all self acquired information [Al-Nabiyeen] is Mohammedun – He is not a part of any procreation process, neither he is from your self sustaining mechanism. Mohammed is an inherent sense in all of us but very few people can activate and make use of it – Usually people depends upon other voices of approvals to take the final decisions or approvals – Because to approve something one has to gain right knowledge and that is very difficult, so the job of mohammedun is not easy. As we know common sense is not common. I recognize Mohammedun as common sense which works along with our consciousness but very few of us use it. Only if we have Mohammed in us we can receive Quran in our own language, which will be a guide and criterion [Furqan] to the agitated mind.

The word Rijaal رِجَالٌ  signifies self sustaining dynamics which works independently on in its own strength and capacity, capacity of mind to carry its on burden. The status of Mohammed is that he is the signature of authority / approval [Khatama] over all the self acquired information [Al-Nabiyeen] but he does not perform the work of the Nabi, he is just a Rasul who does not supply, collects / gathers, nourishes, rears, warns or acts like a father / procreator or as other Rasuls [inherent messengers] do. Mohammed [the inherent sense] only approves / finalize / stamps all self acquired information [Al-Nabiyeen] after deeply studying them and then commands to perform the action. The Rasul works with Allah [system of consciousness] - Verse 33:40 and verse 3:81 explains the work of Mohammedun the rasul.

3:81 - And when the system of consciousness [Allah] took all the self acquired information [al-nabiyeen] promise/covenant that what I gave/brought you from a script [kitab] and wisdom then a Rasul] came to you as a confirmation for what is with you, have trust with him/it and you will continuously help him/it. He said: "Did you confess / acknowledge and you took / received upon; that is My restriction / My boundary?" They [Al-Nabiyeen] said: "We confessed / acknowledged." He [Allah] said: "So witness/testify and I am with you from the witnessing/testifying/present."

Explanation of 3:81 - If the prophets are human personalities born and living in different time zones then how can we understand the above scenario of Allah giving book and taking oath from all the prophets that a messenger will come to confirm what is with them [Al-Nabiyeen] and that they must help him [Rasul]. The nabiyeen [only nuh to isa - 33:7, Mohammed is excluded because he is Rasul not a Nabi] acknowledges that they will help him [Rasul] and Allah is witness to the pact. This is only possible if all the characters, i.e nabiyeen, Allah, Rasul and shaitaan are present in our lower consciousness [فِي الْأَرْضِ] - otherwise it is impossible to understand this verse from the traditional point of view.

The voice of Mohammed [the embedded messenger] is lying dormant that’s why we cannot attain the status of Maqame Mahmood (17:79) –

Mohammedur Rasul Allah is the final inherent voice of approval because he is the stamp of approval for all our personal information [Nabiyeen] - the inherent sense Mohammed carefully studies with the knowledge of our Consciousness [Rabb] all our inherent thought process or inner conversation or self inspired information [Al-Nabiyeen] and orders it to implement it into action –

One more information; in the entire book Quran Mohammed is mentioned as Rasul but never as a Nabi. We need to understand the connotations of Rasul and Nabi in the Quranic sense and not in the light of Hadith. According to Hadith literature Mohammed bin Abdullah [PBUH] was the father of Zayed ibn Harithah [adopted son]. Again Zayedun in Quran 33:37 is also not a proper noun.

The problem with us is that we are treating the book al-Quran as the history book of Mohammed bin Abdullah [PBUH] and his companions [R.A] and tales of Jewish and Christians prophets suppose to have born in the region of Middle East. No name mentioned in the entire Quran is proper noun of a person or place. They are characteristics, adjectives, status, state or positions.

It is difficult to sink in as it is unconventional line of thinking - Please ignore if it is too hot to handle...

My intention is not to offend anyone. But the truth should prevail.

Why the traditional interpretation of the following verses show Mohammed in the past tense or absent form when he was "physically present" when the alleged revelation took place?

3:144, 33:40, 47:2, 48:29

SURAH 97 - AL QADR

THE SURAH IS DEDICATED TO ALL RESEARCHERS:                                     08/07/2014

CHAPTER - 12 - SURAH – 97 - سورة القدر

AL-QADR – THE VALUE / THE MEASURE

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

With the identification [Bism] of the System of Consciousness [Allah], the Rehman the Rahim]

INTERPRETATION:

  إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ

1) Indeed we have caused it to download in the process of the valuable anxiety

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ

2) And what compel you to know what the process of valuable anxiety is?

لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ

3) The process of the valuable anxiety is better from the familiar / usual / normal notable manifestations

تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ

4) Therein settles down Malaikah [faculty of mind which possess command] and Ruh [spirit of consciousness] in it (the research process which is the reason of anxiety) with the announcement / permission of their Rabb [Consciousness] from every judgment / opinion. 16:2

سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ

5) It is state of peace [salam] until the emergence of the breakthrough [Al-Fajr].

EXEGESIS:

A very important significance is attached to this surah in the “Islamic theology” – This surah is wrongly attributed to a single night of power or decree or blessed night of the revelation of 114 chapters book called Quran. Thus confining or limiting the significant of message to only one "night". The concept or belief of reverence any blessed night or special day is like worshiping that event and it can be termed as blasphemy. Attaching any importance to personalities, things, time, dates and address is not the concept of the glorious Quran and the ideology of Islam.

No surah is isolated in the Quran every surah is interconnected to a common theme and a single goal. This surah too is one of the series of an important chain of the Quran.

It is the job of Gabriel / Jibrail
(the faculty of mind to decode the unknown) to lodge or download (nazil) the unknown / unseen understanding, which is not visible to the intellect (Qalb) - (2:97). Such unknown knowledge is called بِالْغَيْبِ (Bil-Gayab) in Islamic terminology (2:3). Algebra and Jibrail have a common root word ج ب ر - The function of Algebra is to deduce or to find the X factor and the function of Jibrail the Malaikah (commanding faculty of mind) is also the same, that is to bring out the unknown knowledge which is recognized as revelation (2:97-98) or wahi (7:3) in Arabic. Al-Jabr also means reunion of broken parts.

In short this surah can be treated as an extension of 2:183 – 187 the verses of saum in which the revelation of Quran occurred. The terms Saum – Ramadan – Nazil – Quran – Lail- Hajj is overall related in the understanding of the phenomenon of لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ (Lailathul-Qadr). And the beneficiaries of this amazing knowledge are those who believe in the unseen and works on it, such people are called Mutaqi or “God Conscious” / thoughtful in colloquial terms. Such people are successful (Muflihoon) in Quran because they followed the guidance of their Rabb (2:1-5). Lailthul Qadar is also called Laithul Mubaraka [44:3]. Blessed Anxiety

The first three verses are describing the word or the Arabic term لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ  Lailthul Qadr or rather the entire surah is dedicated to it. The traditionalist term this vibrant term as the night of decree whereas the real meaning of الْقَدْرِ  Al-Qadr is - to evaluate, measure, compute, estimate (6:91), determine and to know some specific purpose. The meaning of لَيْلَةِ Lail is a period or a process or a phase when one is anxious or uncertain about the outcome of his/her research..

This Surah intends to educate us about the phase or process of anxiety (لَيْلَةِ) – This moment can also be identified as the period of uncertainty. The surah does not discuss about the ordinary anxiety, but a very valuable one (الْقَدْر). Seeking of new knowledge or revelation, without any bouts of uneasiness and nervousness is not possible and cannot be considered as of real worth. The idea of the new findings provokes the seeker and this anxiety does not allow the seeker to take rest and be calm till the emergence of solution. Such phase of uneasiness or uncertainty is called Lailth in classical Arabic.

A researcher is the first one to initiate this mental journey and values it immensely. The outcome of this valuable anxiety changes his destiny and the destiny of the entire Mankind. This tough / powerful journey on the path of inquiry is actually termed as a pilgrimage or Hajj, in its final stage. This pilgrimage is like a crusade against one’s own self . The term LAITH is called as the period of anxiety and it is generally the period of ignorance or dark phases of one’s life. When a pioneer is in the midst of search of some important breakthrough (Fajr) and is in the dark about the outcome of his / her hard work - a feeling creeps into one’s psyche. And that feeling of uncertainty is called as anxiety, when the outcome is not known. This period / process of intense anxiety or over thinking leads to severe uneasiness, and this condition is termed as Lailth, which is a long tiresome journey or a mental crusade.

One of the meanings of Lail in classical Arabic also means robber or thief, as he is uneasy during the search of valuables and is not sure about the outcome of his venture. During the period of ‘laith’ a person is in search of unusual important things hence he is restless until the emergence of a breakthrough or an opening or a way out (Fajr) is achieved. This valuable anxiety (لَيْلَةِ) robs away your time, energy and resources.

The beloved author has further explained Lailthul Qadr as a valuable / useful anxiety or a better venture than the usual (Alfi) or familiar manifestations (Shahr). In this process of intense thinking, the person is encouraged or consoled through the Malaikah (a medium of authority embedded in mind) and Al-Ruh (air /spirit of consciousness) for his efforts or attempts in undertaking this long deadly journey. Verify the meaning of  أَلْفِ [Alfi] from its derivatives mention in verse 106:1-2. In the era of Quran the word denoting thousand was not yet discovered so to ascribe the meaning of Alfi as thousand is wrong.

Please note that this phenomenon called Ruh is an important thing whose absence makes one restless, lifeless, senseless and spiritless and whose presence makes things lively, cheerful, sensible and active. When the person is involved in such mental journeys or exercise he gets exhausted very quickly and needs the moral support and consolation at every moment of his research, which he receives from the mechanisms of Malaikah and Ruh. Spirit of consciousness or awareness is Ruh which keeps the person alert, spirited, on the toes and satisfied with his research process or work.

This unusual phenomenon when colludes with one’s intellect, it is called revelation or a breakthrough thinking. The phenomena of Malaikah and Ruh descend upon all those who think unusually and this phenomenon is not easy to understand, unless someone has experienced it. This happening is the main driving force for people who indulge deeply in the field of thinking and research. Such people are restless souls who are anxious until they find the solution or the breakthrough (Al-Fajr) to their dilemma. These individual pioneers need moral support or acknowledgement from time to time. The descent of Malaikah and Ruh is the sign of acknowledgment to the individual's mind that their research is going in the right direction and they should remain steadfast on it. It is an authentication of their valuable work by the Rabb through Ruh and Maliakah to help out or ease the anxiety that the person is going through. All true servants can witness this phenomenon – 16:2

Any researcher or an investigator needs some kind of authentication for their findings on every step, without which he / she cannot move ahead in his / her thought process. The assurance that his work is going on the right track is signaled by these intangible forces. Once these individual pioneers, are sure that the journey of anxiety is on the right track they are relieved or at peace [salam] until their idea sees the light of the day or breakthrough [Al-Fajr] is achieved and its worthiness is measured (Al-Qadr) by all. The sense of relief obtained because of the soothing communication that is received from their Rabb makes them delighted. This momentous feeling of enlightenment is combined with authority is termed as descending of Ruh and Malaikah on one’s efforts during the undergoing task.

A mathematician gets mathematical expressions or formulas in the form of revelations. Archimedes got the breakthrough while he was about to bathe in his bathtub that was his fajr from the journey of anxiety (Lailth) towards enlightenment (Nahr). A Music composer gets his musical notes through revelations or a Poet gets his inspiration to write poetry through revelation. The revelation is the breakthrough through which one becomes famous (Mashur one of the derivatives of Shahr). This revelation changes the fortune (Taqdeer derivative of Qadr) and it becomes the destiny (Muqadar) of the individual and the mankind at large. The beloved author wants us to know the power of thinking in which the entire universal energies conspire to fulfill our urge to know the unknown and the unique.  Only those people achieve it, who value (Qadr) it…If you value sports your muqaddar (destiny) will be in sports. If you value science your muqaddar will be in science. Al-Qadr depends upon what we value in life the most.

EXEGESIS ACCORDING TO THE INTERPRETATION:

The respected author is trying hard to explain the criterion that lead to the revelation (Nazil). Lailth is a journey of anxiety which is termed as the uneasy period or phase of ignorance. The surah is addressed to a single person or a group of individuals. The uneasiness faced by the person going through this period is due to lack of proper enlightenment on a certain subject. This anxiety or uneasiness remains until one does not find a proper solution or does not achieve the breakthrough (Al-Fajr), which he she are looking for. The breakthrough he/she is looking for is not the usual or ordinary or normal, but it has a great value to it. Due to the constant period of restlessness or anxiety to search for an answer to the long pending problem, a word or expression - an authority of authentication is released from the system of consciousness (Allah). This forces of authority (Malaikah) has the quality to overcome or control the mind of a person by the virtue of which he is full of spirit / energy (Ruh) until the final breakthrough (Al-Fajr) is achieved.

Why this authentication or assurance from Malaikah and Ruh is necessary for a person who is involved in research?

A pioneer researcher is always against all odds as he is constantly trying to do what nobody has ever achieved or done before him. He or she is the pioneer in his/her works, and it’s obvious that the general people will not accept his work because it is ahead of his contemporaries’, unless it is proved by evidence or argument (Al-Hajj). That’s why this surah is connected with the revelation of Al-Quran and Saum.

EASIER EXPLANATION:

The essence of this surah is not easy to understand from the traditional point of view but this is a common phenomena experienced by all thinking people.

The feminine marker at the end of the word Malaikah indicates a process or a mechanism, which when activated turns confusion into the position of dominance or authority and Ruh signifies energy, spirit or air of consciousness / awareness.

When the power of anxiety is at its peak, a valuable and precious phenomenon occurs. In that period of anxiety one gets the solution to his research or dilemma or problem, but this is not an ordinary solution, it’s a breakthrough which is beneficial to everyone. The solution during this period of anxiety is better than the thousand months of living in ignorance. It is the dawning of relief to the person until the breakthrough sees the light of the day. This is how Al-Lailth is converted into Al-Fajr or An-Nahr, that is period of anxiety into phase of enlightenment. That's why it is considered as valuable anxiety لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ -

Invention of electricity is a breakthrough for entire mankind. It is an authority and dominance over all other inventions in that field. The same thing could be said about Al-Quran it was a breakthrough work in the field of psychology and character building in the Arabic language. No other book was parallel to this magnificent book of that era. It was a light, guidance and source of enlightenment to those underprivileged nomadic tribes who were living a life of tremendous hardship and fear.

The purpose of this surah is that, the solutions to all our problems can be solved by us alone, provided we focus on our work. The universal energies will help us to find a way to solve our problems. Malaikah does not come down from heaven; it is a deep rooted faculty in our brain itself (EWL page # 3023) which gives us the power, authority and control over our anxiety. The work of a Ruh is to keep us excited, agile, alert and content with the knowledge of awareness or consciousness.

TRADITIONAL INTERPRETATION:

1) Indeed, we have sent it (this Quran) down in the night of the Decree.

2) And what will make you know what the Night of the Decree is?

3) The Night of the Decree is better than a thousand months.

4) Therein descend the Angels and the Ruh (Jibrael) by Allah's Permission with all decrees,

5) (All night), there is peace until the rising of the dawn.

EXEGESIS ACCORDING TO TRADITIONALIST:

There are different versions about the meaning of Lailthul Qadr by the traditional translators. Some says it is a Night of Power or Decree, others say it is Night of Majesty or Dignity. The basic concept of these translators are same - that it is in this night the first divine revelation brought by the Arch Angel Jibrael, to the honorable messenger of Arabia in the cave Hira, in the month of Ramadan. Because of this event the night became auspicious and those who are awake all night, busy in performing prayers will have a reward of thousand months from their Lord.... Thus it is called Night of Power, Decree, Dignity, Majesty etc.

If we follow the traditional interpretation of this great surah there is no lesson in it for anyone. Only information is provided about the scenario, how the angels and Chief Angel Jibrael descends down with the revelation of "Quran" and the whole night becomes auspicious due to it, until the emergence of dawn.

MY POINT:

Again the timeless immemorial message of the book Quran is confined to that particular night only, by the enemies of this sacred book. The message of this surah is so meaningful and deep but the enemies of the honorable author and the noble Quran have made the entire message handicapped by confining it to that superficial event. Sadly, they believe that one cannot understand the Quran without the help of crutches made by “hadith compilers”. We have been conditioned to think that only with the help of Hadith books we can understand or deduce the message of Quran. Although supplementary knowledge is important to deduce overall concept but to think Quran is handicap without the Hadith literature is an insult to the book Quran. This is the severe travesty with the evocative message of the Quran which is meant for everyone and all times to come.

Al-Quran should act as a measuring instrument to check all the extra Islamic material. The “Hadith” should not show light to the "Quran" but on the contrary the traditionalists claim that Quran cannot be understood without referring to Hadith. While Quran itself claims that it is easy to understand (54:17) and is clear. "Quran" should be the measuring instrument to check the veracity of all other books on the subject. The ulterior motive of the so called narratives of the prophet is to give guidance to the "Quran" and misguide the followers of "Quran" from the divine guidance.  All these fabricated books were written after approximately 200 years of the messenger’s or author’s demise and to take these books as a guide to understand the Quran is worse than blasphemy.

POINTS FROM THIS SURAH:

Every work either big or small creates an anxiety before its completion. However every job does not excite you or in other words, does not give you a kick. This kick or excitement is a sign of manifestation that the work or assignment that you have undertaken is of your interest and is very dear to your heart. You don’t need an extra motivation to do this job as the job itself urges you or commands you to complete it. This extra motivation is provided by the Rabb by secreting Malaikah and Ruh to authenticate your work and ease out the anxiety during the long mental journey of finding the solution.

This job won’t let you sleep. It increases your excitement day by day and the result is that eventually your level of anxiety also grows. This level of anxiety is not an ordinary anxiety and it cannot be subdued unless the entrusted task gets completed. The task is a prolonged one and for that continuous determination and excitement is needed to fulfill that task. The task of soothing and consoling is done by the Malaikah and Ruh by authenticating, consoling and giving energy to find the solution to the bothering problem.

What makes a person to undertake this task? Who commands him / her to do such a thankless job? – The job is entrusted upon him by his consciousness and it is his consciousness that commands him, day and night, to complete it. And it is his consciousness that will ease out his anxiety by acknowledging his work through the secretion of Malaikah and Ruh in him. The pioneers have no master or guide over them to authenticate or acknowledge their work; nevertheless he gets his energy or acknowledgement of his work through the intangible feeling of enlightenment through Malaikah and Ruh. This is the signal from his Rabb to him that his investigation is on the right track; this keeps him fastened towards his goal. Finally there is Peace (Salam), after the attainment of the breakthrough (Fajr). Some call these feelings as eureka moments.

Q: Are there any special nights in which we should spend our time in superfluous prayers rather than sleep?

A: Contrary to popular practice and belief there are no 'special nights' with special ceremonial prayers. However, thinking, pondering or meditating with sincerity in any dark hour of need is a sign of a Mutaqi or who is conscious about the need of his/her environment.

Although Al-Quran the book mentions specific dark phases of anxiety in the life of any person with the words 'Laithul Al-Qadr' and 'Laithin Mubaarakah' (44:1-7), it is not an annual night for 'special prayers'. According to the Qur'an it is the period of extreme anxiety during which the matter is cooked to its final stage (Ramadan) and is manifested (shahr) in the form of revelation of the Qur'an (Expression in our mother tongue). Thus this is the blessed anxiety (dark phase) due to which the Quran or expression is revealed as the guidance and criterion for agitated souls. Hence 'Surah Al-Qadr' is actually articulating and acknowledging the status of the dark period as a blessed period and not specifying an annual night of special prayers for granting boons.

The overwhelming influence of Hadith literatures over the Qur'an has seduced us to misread the obvious essence of the Surah.
