The consequence of breaking his own peaceful mind the emotion to take revenge saturates him and gradually pushes him into a state of stagnation, hollowness and depression. The buried desire to acquire to take revenge at the cost of breaking the natural law of humanity eventually engulfs him. The stagnation and hollowness forces him to retrospect his past deeds. He witnesses the consequences of his wrong actions which are already registered in his own conscious (Rabb).

الْعَادِيَاتِ = The one who transgresses all limits, runs fast, enmity, hostility, deviated from, leaps upon him, tyrannical conduct, unjust, became distant, aloof, covet, excessive wrong, aggressive, mischief, hate etc

Understanding the essence of the message is of utmost important than the other factors. My aim is that the translations should be reader-friendly and simple.

 Morals of the Surah:

(1) What you sow, so shall you reap.

(2) One has to witness his/her doings

(3) Control your fire before it engulfs you

(4) Keep a track of your desires / vengeful thoughts, before you turn into a victim of it.

 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Traditional translation:

1) By the (horses) that run, with panting.
2) Striking sparks of fire (by their hoofs).
3) And scouring the raid at dawn.
4) And raise the dust in clouds the while.
5) And penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe)- what a brave scenario !

There is no connection between the above five verses with the rest of the verses

6) Indeed man is ungrateful to his Lord
7) And to that he bears witness
8) And indeed he is violent in the love of wealth
9) Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are poured forth ?
10) And that which is in the breasts shall be made known
11) Indeed, that Day their Lord will be Well-Acquainted

I still cannot understand from where this galloping horses with sparking hoofs come from ? Raiding the foes in the dawn .... raising the dust clouds ... what a imagination.... all interpreters are copy cats of each other .... No application of mind at all.
